Kids Camp for FREE

Campers can arrive anytime after 2:30 on September 9, but must check-in with the Trusted Servant on Duty when they arrive.

All campers must have a signed waiver on file – you can download one on this site here, or there will be some available at the check in area.

The group area is comprised of 2 large meadows as shown below. It is located approximately 1 mile from the Columbia river and beach area in the park.

The are plenty of spaces for campers to set up tent/RVs, etc, but there are no electrical hookups for RVs.  RV’s: Please, no generators after quiet hours.

Electricity is available in the kitchen building. There is also access to water in the kitchen and in a single outdoor hose-bib near the picnic pavilion.

Campers supply their own food and other camping supplies. Potlucks are held Friday and Saturday night, and a pancake breakfast will be held on Sunday morning.

Typically, people choose to camp around the perimeter of the meadows, leaving center areas open for activities.

Parking is allowed in the first (larger) meadow only. After unloading your gear at your camp site, please move your car to the designated parking area in the first meadow.  See image below with areas marked.

Dogs are being allowed on a trial basis this year, see this page for more details.

If you don’t have a tent, there are 2 rustic bunkhouses (with 3 bunks each) located near the pavilion.  They are currently planned to be set up up as one for women, one for men, but this may change if needed, based on registrations.  Use the reg form to reserve a bed.  BYO Sleeping bag and pillow if you wish to use.

There is one group firepit area. Individual fires are not permitted. If fire-conditions require, a gas fire-ring will be used in the group area instead of wood fire.
